AmericaxReader: Haircut

A bell jangled as you closed the door behind you. Flipping your newly cropped hair out of your eyes, you grinned and stepped out of the hairdresser's onto the sidewalk, ready to head home.
You decided to walk through the park on your way home, enjoying the feeling of the breeze in your hair. A startled voice awoke you from your thoughts.
"_____!"
Looking up, you waved when you saw Alfred coming towards you. "Oh hey Alfred. What's up?"
"What the heck happened to your beautiful hair?!"
"Oh, this? I cut it."
Alfred made a puppy face. "But why?"
He was so cute, you couldn't help but giggle. "I like it this way. It feels more free." You fluffed your hair and spun in a circle. "What do you think?"
"Well… You looked really pretty with your hair long… But this suits you." Alfred grinned. "Yeah, I like it."
"Aw, thanks Al," you said, hugging him.
Hugging back, he whispered in your ear, "Can you keep a secret, _____?"
"Of course! Anything for you, Alfred."
"I really like you _____."
You blushed and whispered back, "I really like you too, Al."
Alfred's eyes widened. "Really?" He received a nod. "Excellent! Then will you go out with me?"
"I thought you'd never ask!" You laughed and pulled him back into a hug. "Yes!"
He kissed your cheek. "Sweet. Doing anything right now?"
"No. Why?"
"First date!" Alfred cried and headed to the nearby McDonald's, pulling the laughing you behind him.
